IMImobile provides mobile messaging platform for Oxford Covid-19 research

Wednesday 16 September 2020 | 10:09 CET | News

Cloud communications software and solutions provider IMImobile is supporting the University of Oxford's Covid-19 research, enabling the university to conduct research via mobile.

The University used IMImobile's 'Textlocal' mobile messaging platform to launch a mobile-friendly survey hosted online for volunteers to share their experience of symptoms and instances of early infection of Covid-19. Textlocal provided an SMS keyword on a short number (Covid on 62277) along with a bespoke mobile survey, which will be promoted through social media and broadcast media. Members of the public can text Covid to 62277 to ask to take part in the survey.
