Immersion settles haptic feedback case with Fitbit

Touch feedback technology developer Immersion Corporation has reached a settlement agreement with Fitbit after suing the wearables maker last year for patent infringement. The settlement includes a multi-year licence agreement, said Immersion without disclosing any of the terms. A year ago Immersion revealed that it had brought legal action against Fitbit in China and the US for allegedly breaching a series of haptic feedback patents in devices including the Flex wristband and Blaze smartwatch.
