India bans China's Huawei, ZTE from its planned 5G rollout - report

Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE will not be included in India's 5G rollout, as relations between the two countries deteriorated following deadly border clashes. India will apply investment rules that cite national security concerns to restrict bidders from nations it shares land borders with to keep out the companies, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter. According to the same sources, India's Ministry of Communications will restart discussions on approvals for 5G trials by Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio Infocomm, and Vodafone Idea that were delayed by the
