India imposes new anti-dumping dutes on Huawei, ZTE, Alcatel

India has imposed an anti-dumping duty on the import of telecom gear from Huawei, ZTE and Alcatel Lucent in order to protect domestic industry from cheap shipments, Hindustan Times reported. The restrictive duty imposed on the import of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy Transmission Equipment (SDHTE) from China ranges at 9.42-86.59 percent of the landed (cost, insurance and freight or CIF) value. I
