India traditional PC market shipments jump 18% to 11 mln units in 2019

The India traditional PC market, which includes desktops, notebooks, and workstations, grew by more than 18.1 percent year-on-year, shipping 11 million units during 2019, according to a report from IDC. The report further indicates that 2019 also turned out to be the biggest year for PC shipments in the last six years. The growth was mainly boosted by the government-driven education projects and upgrade purchases for Windows 10.
