Indonesia prepay SIM registration mandatory starting August

Starting August, all prepay SIM card users in India will need to register their personal information with mobile operators. Operators will deactivate all unregistered mobile lines. The move is part of the government's efforts to prevent the use of unregistered prepaid cards for criminal activities, The Jakarta Post reports.
