Indonesian govt prepares sanctions for BlackBerry

BlackBerry is facing sanctions from the Indonesian government after a disruption of services. The outage affected BlackBerry Messenger, web browsing, and social networking. Gatot Dewa Broto, a spokesman for the Communication and Information Technology Ministry, said that the ministry is looking into the disruption of services and will also check with the regulator to see if the incident breached local rules. "We don't want to be seen as allowing this to keep happening again," Broto told Bloomberg. "We are preparing sanctions," he said without providing details. This is BlackBerry's fourth
