Indosat grows H1 revenues, widens net loss

Indonesian communications provider Indosat widened its net loss in the first half to IDR 231.2 billion from IDR 80.5 billion a year earlier. However, revenues grew 14.2 percent to IDR 11.71 billion, with mobile revenues going up 13.7 percent to IDR 9.57 billion on continued subscriber growth and non-mobile revenues growing 16.3 percent year-on-year to IDR 2.14 billion in the six-month period. EBITDA stood at IDR 5.31 billion, up 9.6 percent, and EBITDA margin fell to 45.4 percent from 47.3 percent a year earlier.
