Installed base of smart street lights to surpass 30 mln worldwide by 2023

The installed base of smart street lights will grow at a CAGR of 24.5 percent from 10.4 million worldwide at the end of 2018 to 31.2 million in 2023, according to a new research report from the IoT analyst firm Berg Insight. Europe is the leading smart street lighting market accounting for nearly 40 percent of the installed base, followed by North America with around 30 percent. The Rest of world accounted for 31 percent of the global installed base in 2018 and the Chinese market constitutes a large part of these installations.
