Insurers can replace smartphone with refurbished device

Insurers can replace a damaged phone with a refurbished model of a different type, according to a ruling by the Dutch financial services dispute resolution commission. A customer had insured his Sony Xperia Z5 and received a used Xperia Z3+ as replacement after filing a claim with the insurer.
