Intel collaborates with Israeli research centre Technion on AI

Technion, the Israel Technology Institute in Haifa, said that Intel is collaborating with it on its new artificial intelligence (AI) research centre. The centre uses Technion's computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering and management departments, among others, to form a closer relationship between academia and industry in AI. Intel has invested undisclosed funds in the centre and will represent the industry in AI-dedicated computing research.
