Intel highlights M2M trends on connected things day

The number of connected M2M devices is forecast to grow by 30 percent annually over the next five years, according to McKinsey. research cited in an Intel infographic published on 9 April to mark the International Internet of Things Day. The poster also shows that by 2020 every person will own seven connected devices, on average, according to Cisco. Furthermore Intel indicates that there will be 23.6 million internet-connected cars on the road in 2016, compared to 8.7 million in 2010, based on a Frost & Sullivan forecasts. Intel also connects the internet of things to a Bloor Research report
