Intel invests USD 117 mln in new tech startups

Intel said its global investment arm has put USD 117 million into 14 "disruptive" tech startups, with an especial focus on artificial intelligence (AI) platforms, more efficient and greener manufacturing technologies, and disruptive new approaches to chip design. Intel said that it usually invests USD 300-500 million per year in innovative companies.
