Intel licenses ARM for foundry business, adds LG as customer

Intel announced that it's licensing ARM technology to offer new services for foundry customers. Its 10nm design platform for foundry customers will now offer access to ARM Artisan physical IP, including POP IP, based on the most advanced ARM cores and Cortex series processors.Intel also discussed at its Developers Forum some recent business with foundry customers. The company said LG Electronics is a new customer and will produce a "world-class" mobile platform based on the 10nm design platform.
