Intel outlines 5G development plans

Intel announced at its Developers Forum plans to invest in 5G development. This includes the start of the Intel Network Builders Fast Track programme to support market development activities and Intel Capital investments in networking innovation and interoperability. Intel also announced a number of industry collaborations. It's working with Nokia Networks to define 5G system specifications, software requirements and implement a test bed to showcase the proofs of concept. As part of that effort, the Nokia AirFrame Data Center Solution will use Intel's high-performance processors as the basis
