Intel powers 130 tablets, demos integrated mobile SoC

Some 130 tablets are in market or will launch this year running Intel chips, Intel president Renee James said at Computex, in an address emphasising the many opportunities of the chipmaker working with the "Taiwan technology ecosystem". James also described how Intel's ever-smaller and more powerful components will drive the Internet of Things, "Whether it's a smartphone, smart shirt, ultra-thin 2 in 1 or a new cloud service delivered to smart buildings outfitted with connected systems."
