Intel, TAG Heuer unveil Fuse Style smartwatch

Intel and TAG Heuer launched their second luxury smartwatch with Intel Inside, the new TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45. Their first luxury smartwatch, TAG Heuer Connected, debuted in 2015. Engineered in collaboration with Intel, the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 all-metal smartwatch is made in Switzerland and supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC.

The smartwatch provides customisation capabilities to enable more than 500 style choices. It has 56 different versions of the watch, including 11 standard models offered in-store with an additional 45 upon request. It can also be personalised with modules, horns, bracelets and buckles.

Based on the Intel Atom Z34XX processor, the device runs the Android Wear 2.0 platform and comes equipped with 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, 5 sapphire cover glass and durable titanium case, more than a day of power, 4GB of memory and water resistance to 5ATM. It features NFC technology that enables contactless payments right from the wrist, the TAG Heuer Connected app for Android and Google Voice control which enables end-users to communicate with it via voice. It also sends notifications and alerts, provides weather updates, tracks fitness goals, and provides access to the full Android Wear apps universe.

The watch will be available in satin or polished grade 5 titanium beginning 14 March at tagheuer.com, TAG Heuer stores, specialty watch stores and major retailers worldwide starting at USD 1,600.
