Intel to restructure new tech operations - report

Intel is in the process of reorganising its operations responsible for helping move the company into new products, reports the Wall Street Journal. The move envisages the creation of what Intel calls the new technology group, which will combine a number of R&D efforts into a single organisation, an Intel spokeswoman told the paper, adding that the new unit will encompass operations previously carried out by the company's new devices group. The change is set to affect a number of key executives, including Mike Bell, who led Intel's push into wearable devices and will take on an unspecified new
