Intelsat contracts Arianespace for two launches of C-band satellites

Friday 18 September 2020 | 10:29 CET | News
Arianespace has secured contracts for two new launches from longstanding customer Intelsat. Scheduled for 2022, the first launch will carry the Galaxy 35 and Galaxy 36 satellites as a stacked pair on an Ariane 5 rocket. For the second launch, in 2023, Intelsat has opted for an Ariane 6 vehicle for the first time, in a mission that will take its Galaxy 37 satellite into orbit. Both will be performed from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana.
