Intermax develops IoT network in Rotterdam

Hosting company Intermax announced the launch of an IoT network in Rotterdam based on Low Power Wide Area Networking. The network called R.I.O.T.: The Things Network 010 counts around 20 antenna sites and was developed with the Rotterdam Internet eXchange (R-iX) and Teqplay. Partners in the project also include the energy group Eneco, the Rotterdam municipality and port authority, Teach32, Hogeschool Rotterdam, Willem de Kooning Academy, the HavenLab, Rotterdam Logistics Lab, CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) and Deloitte.
