Internet of Things centre opens in Munich

A Centre for Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (ZIOT4.0) has been founded at the University of Applied Sciences Munich, led by Prof Dr Vahid Salehi. The centre provides a hybrid simulation environment for the development of cyber-physical and mechatronic systems and their processes within the product development process. By combining CAx-, Product Lifecycle Management, Software simulation and a physical model factory, real industrial components can be integrated and the interaction of a cyber-physical systems can be demonstrated.
