Internet, social media use and device adoption stagnates in US

After years rapid growth, use of the internet and social media in the US as well as ownership of key devices has been largely flat for the past two years, according to a report from Pew. Since 2016, the number of US adults that own or use a mobile phone and smartphone has remained the same at 95 percent and 77 percent, respectively.
