European data centre service provider Interxion said that it's on target to achieve a carbon-neutral footprint across its French data centre facilities by the end of 2020. Interxion France has been working on a sustainability roadmap that should enable it to be carbon-neutral through at least 2030. The company indicated that it was the first major data centre operator in France to purchase electricity from renewable energy sources, when the sustainability plan started to be implemented in 2014.
