Intred, Open Fiber sign new Lombardy FTTH deal

Italian fixed-network operator Intred has announced an expansion of its earlier agreement with wholesale operator Open Fiber. Under the terms of the new deal, various Intred points of presence (PoPs) in the provinces of Brescia, Bergamo, Brianza plus Lecco and Monza will be added to Open Fiber's primary aggregation network. The first batch of 8 connections will be activated between September and October 2020, said the partners.
