Irish Infrastructure Fund buys 78% of Enet

Irish wholesale carrier Enet announced that the Irish Infrastructure Fund (IIF), managed by AMP Capital and Irish Life, is set to acquire 78 percent of the company. The IIF will buy its shares from US investment firm Oak Hill and other minority shareholders. The deal is expected to close once regulatory approvals have been granted. Enet operates Ireland's Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) for the Irish government. These networks will remain under State ownership post acquisition.
