Iroko TV plans to lay off 150 workers and refocus outside Africa

Nigerian video-on-demand (VoD) company iRoko plans to lay off 150 members of staff as it seeks to shift focus from the African market, reports Technext. According to iRoko CEO Jason Njoku, the move was necessitated to stem losses caused by economic woes in the region.
