Israeli govt approves merger of Bezeq International with Yes

The Israeli Ministry of Communications has approved the merger of Bezeq Israel units Bezeq International and Yes after determining it would not harm competition in the multi-channel TV market, Globes reported. The merger is due to take place at the beginning of 2022, although disputes between various workers committees and Bezeq's management put this in doubt, Globes said. After the merger, satellite television provider Yes is meant to become a company selling triple play telecoms packages.
