IT spending in EMEA forecast to hit USD 973 bln in 2019

Monday 12 November 2018 | 13:46 CET | News
IT spending in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) will reach USD 973 billion in 2019, representing a 2 percent increase from the estimated USD 954 billion in 2018, according to the latest forecast by advisory firm Gartner. The year 2018 is not a good one for IT spending in EMEA, says John-David Lovelock, research VP at Gartner. The 5.8 percent growth witnessed in 2018 includes a 4 percent currency tailwind driven by the euro's increase in value against the US dollar.
