Italian court halves Facebook EUR 10 mln consumer rights fine

The Regional Administrative Court of Lazio, the main Italian administrative court of first instance, has halved a EUR 10 million fine imposed on Facebook by antitrust watchdog AGCM for breaches of the country's consumer code, reports Corriere delle Comunicazioni. The social networking giant was initially fined a total of EUR 10 million back in December 2018 for infringements of articles 21, 22, 24 and 25 of the Italian Consumer Code.
