Italian govt postpones Vivendi-TIM meeting until 28 Sept

The Italian government has postponed a meeting over Vivendi's failure to notify the prime minister's office that it had taken over de facto control over Telecom Italia (TIM) until 28 September. The government committee was originally due to meet and possibly take a decision on the matter on 25 September, but the discussion will now take place after a bilateral meeting between France and Italy scheduled for 27 September. The French company may be fined up to EUR 300 million for its alleged breach of its obligation to notify it of its effective control of TIM, according to an earlier Reuters
