Italian govt to decide on possible TIM fine by 04 March

The Italian government will decide on whether or not to fine Telecom Italia (TIM) up to EUR 300 million for flouting golden power rules before national elections to be held on 04 March, according to industry minister Carlo Calenda. "The situation will be made clear before the vote. We don't wait until the election to do things," said Calenda on the sidelines of a meeting in Florence, according to Reuters.
