Italian regulator proposes wholesale broadband price cuts

Italian communications regulator Agcom has announced the completion of a market analysis on local fixed network access and has submitted a report to the European Commission on the proposed new measures and wholesale price reductions to accelerate high-speed broadband takeup. Specifically, the watchdog recommended cutting the price of Virtual Unbundled Local Access (Vula) on Telecom Italia's network to EUR 12.50 a month per line for the 2018-2020 three-year period.
