Italian watchdog summons Vivendi CEO to discuss TI stake

Italian markets regulator Consob has summoned Vivendi CEO Arnauld de Puyfontaine to a 16 November meeting to discuss the French media group's investment in Telecom Italia following the operator's proposal to convert saving shares into ordinary ones. Vivendi recently became Telecom Italia's largest shareholder with a stake of just over 20 percent, but could eventually see its holding reduced to 13.9 percent following the planned conversion of 6 billion saving shares into ordinary stock. Vivendi has already clarified that it doesn't hold any saving shares that could limit the dilution of its
