Italian Wi-Fi use posts sharp rise in February - study

Italians were already spending far more time on home Wi-Fi networks even before the Italian government placed the country's 60 million-plus residents on lockdown to halt the spread of the coronavirus, according to a study by Opensignal. In fact, Italian smartphone users located in many northern provinces started changing their behaviour during the early stages of the coronavirus outbreak ahead of the government-imposed travel restrictions.
