Italy approves first draft of anti-cyberbullying code

Italy's ministry for economic development (MiSE) has approved the first draft of its anti-cyberbullying code, aimed at preventing and combating the increasing phenomenon of online bullying in the country. The self-regulatory code of practice was drawn up by representatives of government bodies, including the communications regulator AgCom, MiSE, the privacy watchdog and children's ombudsman, as well as users' associations and sector operators such as Google and Microsoft.
