Italy opens new Google probe into ad market dominance

Italy's antitrust and competition authority AGCM has announced the launch of a new investigation into Google's market dominance, this time regarding alleged abuse of its dominant position in the Italian online display advertising market. It follows a complaint from Italian digital advertising lobby group IAB and comes after the AGCM last month launched a probe into the cloud storage services offered by the company.
