Italy's Agcom welcomes updated premium services code of conduct

Tuesday 16 April 2019 | 09:53 CET | News
Italian communications regulator Agcom has welcomed the introduction of a new version of the code of conduct for mobile value-added content services, agreed with the country's main mobile operators and content service providers. This fourth version (CASP 4.0) improves the code updated in 2013 by providing additional safeguards for consumers. In particular, the regulator highlighted the efforts to protect users from unwanted activations via a double-click process, while facilitating the payment of any compensation due with the introduction of a new free customer care helpline.
