Italy's CDP to invest EUR 200 million in Metroweb
The Italian state investment fund FSI, controlled by the state bank CDP, has decided to invest EUR 200 million in Metroweb, the company that owns the fibre-optic network in Milan, acquiring a share of 46.2 percent. Italian investment fund F2i will remain the majority owner of the company. The news was announced by the CEO of CDP, Giovanni Gorno Tempini. FSI also has an option to invest another EUR 300 million to finance the second phase of investments.
