Italy's Europa Way to launch movie-oriented Fly HD platform in September

Italian broadcaster Europa Way has confirmed that it will be launching a new DTT platform called Fly HD on 01 September. The service will air in HD/4K HDR with Dolby Digital sound using the DVB-T2 standard and will offer an initial 8 movie, documentary and music channels on a pay per view basis at "extremely competitive" rates. Viewers will be able to access Fly HD on their smartphones and tablets via a dongle with a DVB-T2 receiver, said Europa Way, which also revealed plans to launch an international movie channel.
