Itau seeks cancellation of Oi's creditors assembly

Brazil's Itau bank has requested at the 7th Business District Court of Rio de Janeiro that the court declare null and void the result of the General Creditors Assembly of Oi Group, reports Telesintese. The Brazilian bank claims that there are several reasons that prevent the ratification of the changes to the operator's Judicial Reorganization Plan and requested the calling of a new meeting. For its part, Oi stated that the bank's allegations are unfounded and that other class III creditors approved the plan.
