ITRE approve Kroes telecom package

The Committee for Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) gave its support to the telecom package of Eurocommissioner Neelie Kroes (Digital Agenda) on 18 March, at the European Parliament (EP). In the measures proposed by Kroes, net neutrality is not guaranteed in the same way it is under Dutch law. If the proposals were approved by the EP and the European Council, then the law will replace Dutch net neutrality legislation.
