ITU shifts focus to 'meaningful universal connectivity' as internet growth slows

Global growth in the percentage of households connected to the internet is stalling, having inched up just 1.7 percent year on year to 54.8 percent, according to a new study published by the International Telecommunication Union's Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development.
