ITU, UN launch initiative for Smart Sustainable Cities

The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) have launched the United for Smart Sustainable Cities (U4SSC) global initiative, with the aim of helping ICTs transition to smart sustainable cities. The idea is for public policy to promote urban ICT innovation.
