Ivi to invest RUB 1 bln in own video content

Russian OTT service Ivi plans to invest RUB 1 billion in producing its own video content, reports RBC.ru, citing Oleg Tumanov, the CEO of the company. The investment project will be carried out within the coming twelve months. The company has founded the new unit Ivi Originals for this purpose, to produce youth-focused 5-10 minute mini-serials, as well as premium serials and films.
