Izzi poised to complete migration of Axtel FTTH clients

The Izzi brand of Mexican broadcaster Grupo Televisa announced that it will complete the migration of Axtel's fibre-optic customers on 10 December following its acquisition of the latter's residential FTTH and related assets back in 2018. Over the past two years, some 227,802 broadband customers in the cities of Monterrey, San Luis de Potosi, Aguascalientes, Mexico City, Ciudad Juarez and the municipality of Zapopan have migrated to Izzi's plans following the MXN 4.71 billion transaction.
