Jamaica postpones rate cuts after Flow complaint

Jamaica's Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) has decided to delay a major reduction in termination rates for fixed line calls following a complaint from Flow Jamaica, the local brand of Cable & Wireless Communications. Local daily the Jamaica Gleaner said the incumbent operator complained that the wholesale rate cut from JMD 41 to JMD 25 was overly drastic and should be introduced more gradually.
