Japan to introduce fibre network maintenance fees for internet users in 2024 - report

Tuesday 21 January 2020 | 16:02 CET | News
Japan's Communications Ministry will introduce a system in which internet users across the country will be charged a small fee. The initiative would support the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' plans to make high-speed internet connections available everywhere in the country, including in the most rural communities.
