Jazz Q3 revenue drops 7% affected by tax ruling

Tuesday 5 November 2019 | 08:40 CET | News
Pakistani operator Jazz saw its revenue for the third quarter decline 7 percent from the year before to PKR 45.4 billion, including PKR 42 billion in mobile service revenue, a drop of 8 percent year-on-year. Of that number, mobile data contributed PKR 14.3 million, a jump of more 25 percent. Total revenue decline was caused by the reversal of the 'suo moto' order on 24 April 2019, as well as the Administration Fee Reversal. Excluding these impacts, Jazz's total revenue growth would have been 14.3 percent, parent company Veon reported.
