Jazz revenues jump 20% in Q2 boosted by 59% data services growth

Pakistani operator Jazz recorded revenues for the second quarter up 20.5 percent from the year before to PKR 51.1 billion, including PKR 47.7 billion in mobile service revenue, an increase of just over 21 percent. Of that number, mobile data contributed PKR 12.5 million, a jump of more 58.8 percent. EBITDA grew by 33.7 percent to PKR 27.3 billion, with a margin of 53.4 percent, up from 48.2 percent reported the year earlier. Capex excluding licenses rose to PKR 9.7 billion.
