Jazz revenues plunge nearly 8% in Q2, EBITDA down more than 20%

Pakistani operator Jazz saw its revenues drop 7.9 percent year-on-year to PKR 47.1 billion in the second quarter of 2020. Mobile service revenue reached PKR 43.4 billion, down 8.9 percent. Of this figure, mobile data contributed PKR 16 million, a jump of more 27.6 percent. EBITDA also declined 20.6 percent to PKR 21.7 billion, with a margin of 46.1 percent, down from 53.4 percent reported the year earlier. Capex excluding licenses rose to PKR 14.3 billion.
